wadowice toursWadowice is a little township situated in the south of Poland, just about fifty km from the city of Krakow. Wadowice is mostly known for being the place of birth of the Pope John Paul the second.

Born in the beginning of twenties, he lived there till 1938 so plenty of areas in the Wadowice town relate to his activity at the time of his juvenility. The important one is his original former home situated on Koscielna 7 Street where the Pope grew up.

Visitors are presented many protected primary devices and belongings of Wojtyla’s family line like articles of furniture, photos, books, even a skiis. In the neighborhood of the flat there is the lovely baroque church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the main square where the immature Karol Wojtyla liked to go aside.

Besides his school is available for guests. The township itself has origins in XIII century so there exists many former past architecture.

Zakopane resort is a picturesque highland district named the Polish winter center. Settled on the southern part of Poland it lies in the vicinity of the border with Slovakia. You can hit it driving around hundred kilometers from the city of Krakow by car.

The winter resort is popular due to the ideal surrounding for skiing as well as mounting because it is positioned in the valley dividing the Tatra Mountains and Gubałówka Hill. Kasprowy Wierch, Gubałoówka Hill and Nosal belong to the most popular skiing destinations in the region.
