Wadowice – the city of Karol Wojtyla.
Wadowice is a little township situated in the south of Poland, just about fifty km from the city of Krakow. Wadowice is mostly known for being the place of birth of the Pope John Paul the second.
Born in the beginning of twenties, he lived there till 1938 so plenty of areas in the Wadowice town relate to his activity at the time of his juvenility. The important one is his original former home situated on Koscielna 7 Street where the Pope grew up.
